Substituting 1000 wooden single use pallets per week saving 5.754 tons CO2 annually

DIGITAL DEPOSIT PLASTIC PALLET

made of 100% waste from households

Substituting annually about 360.000 wooden pallets equivalent to 6.480 metric tons of wood (pine tree) – if burned, would emit 788 kg CO2per ton of wood or in this case emitting 5.106 tons of CO2 annually.

By using the DDPP made of single use plastic packaging the DDPP in the same time preventing CO2 emissions of about 648 tons net. In this case a total saving of 5.754 tons CO2 annually.

Digital Deposit Plastic Pallet (DDPP) is an upcycling project chosen by the EU Commission amongst 180 projects to showcase the Circular Economy.
